This service, provided by the Information & eGovernment Authority, allows individuals to issue an address certificate for a new building on a plot of land that has not been previously built on (vacant land). The address certificate is an official document that verifies the address and is recognized by several government entities, such as the Electricity & Water Authority and the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning. It also serves as an official proof for issuing rental contracts if the unit or building is leased. The service applies to both residential and commercial buildings.

Prerequisites

1. Submit an application through the Benayat system or the new municipality system
2. For applications submitted through the new municipality system, the client must visit the front offices at the Isa Town branch after receiving the SMS notification to review the application with the Authority

This service, provided by the Information & eGovernment Authority, allows issuing a unit/establishment number for any government or private unit/establishment that does not have a commercial registration. The numbers are issued for registration and approval purposes, and once issued, the owner of the unit is classified as an approved unit owner. This classification can make them eligible for a work visa to hire workers to serve the unit or establishment. The number is created by issuing an official certificate detailing the unit or establishment.

Unit numbers can be issued for: Hajj campaigns, fishing vessels, farms, real estate, religious units, educational units, associations, theaters, clinics, law offices, embassies/consulates.

Prerequisites

1. The unit must be licensed by the relevant authority
2. Present an official statement from the concerned authority addressed to the Civil ID and Population Registry Directorate for issuing the unit/establishment number
3. The address of the unit/establishment must exist and be registered in the Civil Registry system
4. The address classification must not be residential, except for fishing vessel units

This service allows individuals to submit a request to modify the address of an existing building.

1. Submit an application via the new municipality system
2. Visit the front offices after receiving the SMS notification instructing you to go to the Authority building in Isa Town
